Ich durfte mit dem Open Skiff am Gardasee an einem Trainingslager teilnehmen. Wir waren 21 Kinder aus ganz Deutschland und unsere beiden Trainer Basti und Jannik. Trainiert haben wir in zwei Gruppen. Die ersten Tage war es noch sehr verregnet, aber keineswegs windstill. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Die Winde am Gardasee sind etwas besonderes. Mittags dreht der Wind immer und baut sich dann im S\u00fcden auf und rollt \u00fcber den ganzen See bis zu uns nach Torbole im Norden. Jeden Tag wurde es besser und wir konnten uns gut auf die am Ende des Trainingslagers stattfindende EuroChallenge vorbereiten. Leider musste ich zwischendurch wegen Fieber mal zwei Tage aussetzen, war aber zur Regatta wieder fit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"525\" height=\"296\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/gA24ofGdpz0?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=de-DE&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p> Es waren neun Nationen am Start. Sie kamen sogar aus Indien, Neuseeland und den USA. Von unserer Trainingsgruppe sind 15 Kinder an den Start gegangen. In meiner Altersklasse U15 waren es 101 Boote. Wir sind mit den U17 zusammen gestartet. Das war dann schon eine lange Startlinie mit ca. 130 Open Skiffs. Am Freitag hatte ich durch den starken Wind einen Riss im Segel bekommen. Basti hat nach dem Segellauf den Riss mit Tape geklebt und weiter ging es. Das hie\u00df dann aber am n\u00e4chsten Tag, auf zum Segelmacher und reparieren lassen. Zum Gl\u00fcck ist das am Gardasee schnell gemacht. Den Rest der Regatta bin ich dann mit einem geborgten Segel gefahren. Es ist toll, wie sich bei solchen Problemen alle helfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Unsere Trainer haben auch auf dem Wasser bei anderen einige weitere Reparaturen durchgef\u00fchrt. Zum Schluss konnte ich Platz 64 ersegeln. Die EuroChallenge war eine gute Vorbereitung f\u00fcr den Sommer.<br \/>Im Juli bin ich dann n\u00e4mlich wieder am Gardasee.
